Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: October 03, 2026

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes the prohibited activities when using OpenSaaS. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to comply with this policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate it.

2. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to:

  • Engage in illegal activity. Use the service for any purpose that violates applicable law, regulation or court order, including fraud, money laundering, trafficking of persons or goods, or any other criminal offence.
  • Abuse the service. Attempt to disrupt, overload, degrade or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure, including denial-of-service attacks, credential stuffing, scraping of the API beyond documented limits, or circumventing rate limits, quotas or plan limits.
  • Scrape or misuse identification data. Copy, harvest, resell, redistribute or bulk-extract visitor identity data (names, companies, emails, IP addresses, behavioural data) for any purpose other than analysing traffic on a site you are authorised to operate. Identification data is licensed, not sold.
  • Reverse engineer the service. Disassemble, decompile, deconstruct or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, models or fingerprint libraries of the service, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
  • Resell or sublicense. Sell, sublicense, rent or otherwise provide access to the service or any part of it to third parties without our prior written consent.
  • Spam or abuse notifications. Use Slack, webhook or any other notification channel we provide to send unsolicited bulk messages, phishing content, or messages on behalf of another party, or to flood any channel.
  • Infringe the privacy or rights of third parties. Install the tracking script on a website you do not own or have permission to monitor, track visitors without appropriate notice or consent where required, or use the service to profile, harass or stalk individuals.

3. Acceptable Use of Tracked Sites

  • You may only install the tracking script on domains you own or have documented authorisation to monitor.
  • You must publish a privacy policy on tracked sites that discloses the use of visitor identification, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You must honour Do Not Track signals and applicable opt-out requests, as described in our Cookie Policy.
  • You must not use the service to build marketing lists without a lawful basis, or to make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about individuals.

4. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected abuse, including by reviewing traffic patterns and API usage. Depending on severity, we may issue a warning, throttle or suspend access, restrict features, or terminate the account. Where a violation is unlawful, we may report it to the competent authorities.

5. Reporting Abuse

If you believe someone is abusing the service or believe your data is being misused in violation of this policy, contact us at support@maverickintelligence.com. We investigate reports in good faith and aim to respond within five business days.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-product or by email to the address on your account. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
